The eTrex 22x is a rugged handled GPS. It has an enhanced 65k colour screen that is readable in even the brightest sunlight. It comes preloaded with routable TOPOActive maps for Europe, which feature turn by turn navigation to help you explore with ease. It has a microSD card slot for loading additional maps and an 8GB internal memory for storing tracks and waypoints. The eTrex 22x can utilise both GPS and GLONASS satellites simultaneously making the time it takes for the receiver to ‘lock on’ to a position approximately 20 percent faster than when using GPS alone.

It has been designed to withstand extreme conditions and features an impact resistant housing that is also waterproof for up to 30 minutes in water less than a metre deep.
