Designed for the serious outdoor enthusiast, the Garmin Montana 700 combines a rugged, portable design with a large 5-inch glove-friendly touchscreen display and an impressive list of navigational features. With access to GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO satellite networks, a LiveTrack feature allowing the user to wirelessly connect with other Garmin GPS users, and an ultralow-power ‘Expedition Mode’ that enables constant tracking for a week or more, it’s the ideal companion for travellers in remote areas.   

The multi-GNSS enabled tracking system allows access to higher sensitivity satellite networks for a faster fix, even in shaded and remote environments. The sunlight-readable screen is strengthened for use with gloves, to allow for functionality in cold locations. The unit’s robust design meets MIL-STD 810 for thermal, shock, water, and vibration. 

ABC sensors allow you to reliably navigate to your next trail, with features including an altimeter for elevation, a barometer for weather monitoring, and a 3-axis electronic compass. Cellular connectivity allows you to access up-to-date Active Weather forecasts through the Garmin Connect™ app., helping you stay prepared for any eventuality. The Montana 700 is compatible with Aetemos series handhelds, to help track dogs in the field.
