About this book

Language: French

The Asian long-horned beetle (Anoplophora glabripennis) usually arrives in Switzerland in packing wood. The citrus long-horned beetle (Anoplophora chinensis) resembles it strongly, and is usually imported with shrubs. Both species attack many hardwood species and can cause the death of healthy trees. The Plant Protection Ordinance has classified them as quarantine pests and any infestation must be reported. This guide allows identification of adult insects and larvae, and shows signs of infestation.
