About this product

The H2a Hydrophone is a high quality, robust hydrophone ideal for recording and listening to underwater sounds. It is designed to work with a wide range of recording devices and is available with either a 3.5mm jack or XLR connector. The 3.5mm jack version can be used with any recording device that offers a plug-in-powered 3.5mm microphone input and the XLR version is designed to work with any PA system or recording device that offers a balanced, phantom-powered, microphone input. The H2a is constructed from a stainless steel core with a urethane rubber tranducer cover making it extremely robust. This streamlined design coupled with the high specific gravity keeps the hydrophone down in currents. This hydrophone is available with either a 3m or 9m cable.
