The Haikubox is perfect for bird lovers, offering a whole new perspective and understanding of the birds in your garden. Designed by bioacoustics experts, this weatherproof device uses an advanced neural network to send real-time bird alerts and birdsong identification directly to your smartphone. Included in the price is a one-year subscription to the premium identification software available through the Haikubox app. The premium software includes enhanced Haikubox features like notifications about new and favourite birds, a shareable weblink for friends & family, and viewable bird identifications beyond the last two hours. You can maintain the subscription at $59/year (or equivalent in local currency) to access all features or downgrade to a free subscription with more limited capabilities. Alerts can be tailored to specific or new species, ideal for monitoring the comings and goings of migrating birdlife. The system intelligently manages notifications so you aren't overwhelmed with alerts.

The Haikubox is mains powered and requires an outdoor GFCI outlet in a location that receives a good signal from Wi-Fi. A CB-certified USB wall charger plug (not included) is also needed to power the unit. The Haikubox should be mounted upright or hanging using M4 steel screws for hard surfaces or M4 toggle bolts for hollow walls, 75 mm long (not included).
