British Wildlife is the leading natural history magazine in the UK, providing essential reading for both enthusiast and professional naturalists and wildlife conservationists. Published eight times a year, British Wildlife bridges the gap between popular writing and scientific literature through a combination of long-form articles, regular columns and reports, book reviews and letters.
The major part of the book is taken up with the Systematic list, covering the 245 species recorded in the county during the year. Hampshire Bird Report 2015 also contains regular papers including the Review of the Year and the Ringing Report and various appendices.
There are five papers, covering Heathland Restoration in the Thames Basin, Low Tide surveys in Portsmouth Harbour, coastal movements of Fieldfare and Redwing, the second Hampshire Greater Yellowlegs and the county's first eastern Black-eared Wheatear. There are also three short Notes on post-breeding Mediterranean Gulls, Breeding Goosanders and the BTO House Martin survey.
