Records of plant gall occurrence are needed on a nation-wide scale to inform the conservation work of the future. Many areas of the country are under-recorded owing to lack of skills and information. The aim of this handbook is to encourage more individuals and groups to make systematic, accurate records of their local galls and to submit those records to our National Recording Scheme. This handbook covers all the procedures involved in recording galls, from the basic principles of collecting and making records to the computerised management of data. Includes a recording sheet.
