About this book

Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish

Designed for all those who want to discover the beauty and diversity of the flowers of the Patagonian Andes. A unique bilingual work of its kind, since it brings together 365 species of flowering plants from the high mountains, illustrated with exceptional photographs and updated information. The first edition of this book was published in 2005, out of print for years and had less than half of the species covered in this new edition. The authors, Marcela Ferreyra, Cecilia Ezcurra and Sonia Clayton are biologists who live in Bariloche in the province of Río Negro, Argentina, with a long career in the study of Patagonian plants. This revised and expanded edition includes more than 1000 photographs of high mountain plants (from Neuquen to Tierra del Fuego), with updated information on their characteristics and the environment in which they develop.
