This woodconcrete integrated bird box from Unitura is designed to provide a long-term nesting solution for birds that prefer semi-open nest boxes. The thermally non-conductive FSC-certified woodconcrete ensures that the roost is both sheltered from the elements and daily temperature fluctuations. A partial internal dividing wall prevents water ingress into the box from outside, protecting both the occupants and the cavity. This is supplemented with a steep angled entrance hole which will promote water runoff away from the box and down the wall.
This box has been designed to be suitable for housing with shallow cavity spaces and can be retrofitted if applicable to the project.
