The National Trust Apex Insect House is an ideal addition to any wildlife friendly garden. With a variety of shelter types, it offers a perfect habitat for important invertebrates such as lacewings, ladybirds, and even some butterflies. If you are lucky, you might see solitary bees building their nests and caring for their young in the bamboo tubes. Simply hang the house less than 2m from the ground or place in a sheltered position amongst vegetation and watch for the arrival of its first occupants.
