|
|
This book provides a unique insight into the inner mechanisms of international treaties – their history, development, successes and failures – from those who have spent their lives working with them.
One of the authors, David Stroud, kindly agreed to answer a few of our questions.

Now in stock - British & Irish Moths: A Photographic Guide
New edition | May 2021
This third edition has been significantly expanded so that it includes all species on the British list, approximately 2,500 in total, representing a magnificent achievement by the author, Chris Manley. It also includes updates to the text, improvements to the photographic selection, and extra identification hints. For the leaf-mining micros, photographs are included to demonstrate the all-important feeding signs that can often be a more reliable identification method than seeing the adult.

Bee Block
Large | White
Bee Blocks can be used either as an integrated part of a building or can be positioned as a free-standing bee nest in the garden or allotment. Each block contains cavities for solitary bees to lay their eggs, they will then seal the entrance with mud or chewed-up vegetation. Bee Blocks are cast from concrete using 75% waste material from the china clay industry, this makes them long-lasting and environmentally friendly.

Plantlife’s “No Mow May” campaign asked gardeners around the UK to lock up their lawnmower and let the wild flowers in their lawn bloom. Here at NHBS we were delighted to take part in No Mow May, with a number of our staff members saying “no” to the mow in order to help our bees, butterflies, and wildlife!
