Para cada especie se señalan aquellos caracteres que pudieran servir para la identificación de las babosas marinas tanto a los especialistas como a los amantes de la fauna marina. Para cada especie se aportan datos sobre su distribución geográfica, principalmente en el litoral brasileño.
