These PASSION HD binoculars from German precision optics are their next level offering in high quality lower cost binoculars. Multi layer coated HD lenses give unparalelled colour and light transmission at this price point while also maintaining the brands unrivalled close focus. Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms with unrivalled light and colour transmission help make these longer range binoculars as bright and crisp as some of their lesser magnified counterparts.

The PASSION 8.5x/10x and 12.5×50 series have a magnesium body with extending aluminium eyecups, giving great strength while also maintaining a lightweight chassis to help eliminate fatigue. This is supplimented by a rubberised outer coating on the outer barrels of the binoculars to give enhanced grip and stability.  These optics are dirt and water resistant due to a propriatary PASSIONdrop™ water-repellent coating on the casing of the binoculars.

The 10x and 12.5×50 models have optimised balance for their length within the body of the binocular and ensure a steadiness and fatigue resistance not usually found in binoculars of this size. Diopter and focus adjustment are done through a centrally mounted, dual function, knurled, wheel which gives much greater access and ergonomics than a barrel mounted diopter adjuster. Diopter adjustment is made through a satisfying click wheel which pulls out from the focus wheel which has a nice resistance and smoothness in common with the ED models of this brand.

The HD series comes in a full compliment of magnifications and sizes to accomodate for every use case and price point, 8x for the closer ranges through to the 12.5x for very long range objects.
