Biography

Naturalist Brian Parkinson is the author of a long list of books on New Zealand's flora and fauna, including the Field Guide to New Zealand Seabirds (New Holland), now in its second edition. Brian lives in Auckland. Hamilton-based Don Horne has been published in a range of books and magazines, from New Zealand Geographic to Miller's Insects of New Zealand. His spectacular macro photography also features in New Holland's Photographic Guide to Mushrooms and other Fungi of New Zealand (2007).
