The Psyllidomorpha is one of the infraorders in Hemiptera. More than 3850 species and 305 genera are known in the world. Most of them feed on Dicoryledonae of Spermatorphyta, and a few species feed on Coniferophyta and Monocotyledoneae. Some species are associated with human habitations and known as forest, agriculture and fruit tree pest.

The present work deals with 1001 species belonging to 113 genera, 19 families, and 5 superfamilies of Psyllidomoropha in China. Of which, 393 species and 16 genera are described as new to science; 8 families and 14 subfamilies and 5 superfamilies are suggested; 166 species are newly combined, 5 species are named for replacement of junior homonyms. Male and female genitalia, the fore and hind wings and other external characters of all included species are illustrated. The color figures of some species and microscopical photos of larvae and eggs are given in the plated. Keys to world superfamilies of Psyllidomorpha, Chinese families and subfamilies, tribes, genera and species are provided.
