BTO Bird Atlas – Regional Atlases [NHBS List]

The BTO Bird Atlas project took place over four summers and winters, was supported by over 40,000 volunteers, and resulted in the publication of the Bird Atlas 2007-11.

This NHBS-curated page conveniently brings together all the county atlases published in its wake. You can sort the list alphabetically on county name by clicking on "Sort By: Volume".

We have spoken to a large number of societies. Some have indicated that an atlas is either in the planning or in the making for 2016 or beyond (marked with a Maybe in below table). They will be added to this page as more details become available. Other societies have indicated that the results of these surveys will not be published in book form, but are only available online. And finally a number of societies have told us that there are currently no plans to publish findings separately, either online or in print.
