The Spypoint FLEX E-36 builds on the technology of the FLEX series to deliver impressive performance at an excellent price point. Able to capture high-quality 36MP images and HD 1080p videos, easy to use, and with dual-sim configuration to enable easy transmission of media to your mobile phone, it's a great choice for capturing stunning images of the natural world.
In keeping with other cameras in the FLEX series, the E-36 uses cellular technology to transmit photos and video directly to the user's phone. It comes with a dual-sim configuration, allowing it to select between multiple carriers to utillise the one with the best coverage in any given area. The first 100 photos captured during the month will be transmitted for free, after which data plans will need to be purchased for additional photos and videos. All media is stored to the camera's SD card (not included) and can be retrieved in the field. The app also allows for remote firmware updates and configuration, providing unparalleled control without the need to disturb the camera site.
The FLEX E-36 features 4 ultra-bright infrared LEDs and has a long-range sensor allowing an effective capture range of 100ft (30m). With an impressive 0.3 second trigger speed it is able to capture faster moving animals, assisted by a 50° detection arc. Various modes allow the user to tailor the camera's functioning to their requirements, including a time-lapse mode that allows regular photos to be taken over set periods of time, a time-lapse+ mode that allows timelapse alongside motion detection, and a multishot mode in which up to three images will captured per trigger event, maximising the likelihood of a high-quality shot. The info bar along the bottom of each photo and video shows the date, time, temperature (°C/°F), moon phase, Spypoint logo, and camera model.
Also available in a twin pack for better value, and as a starter set with 32GB Micro SD card and 2x AA lithium battery packs. Also available as a twin pack bundle with 2x 32GB Micro-SD card and 4x AA lithium battery packs.
Note: Although rechargeable batteries (of at least 2500mAh) can be used with trail cameras, they are not recommended due to their lower capacity and voltage. Therefore they are unlikely to operate the camera at its full potential, or as reliably when compared with standard Lithium batteries. If the use of rechargeable batteries is necessary we recommend Panasonic Eneloop Pro batteries which have been shown to perform well with trail cameras. Additionally, we recommend using an SD card with a minimum write speed of 10MB/s (also labelled as U1 or class 10).
