A very sturdy but lightweight hand net/kick net for routine aquatic sampling, school and field centre use. The outer frame is 200mm wide and is constructed from marine grade aluminium with an inner brass ring supporting the net. The handle is made from wood which is comfortable to hold even when wet or in cold weather. It will also float if dropped into the water. This net is built to the same high standard as the Professional Hand Net but has a smaller head.
Nets are attached to the frame by an inner brass frame to reduce wear, these can be easily removed for washing or replacement. This also means that a single frame can be used with a range of different net bags. Choose the 1mm mesh for general survey work or the 2mm mesh for amphibians. 250µm and 500µm nets are also available. Replacement/spare nets and frames can be purchased separately.
