This is the second contibution on neotropical polypores, covering genera Abortiporus to Nigroporus. It follows on part one published in 2004, continuining the pagination from that volume. Species are described in a standardized manner thus making it easy to compare different species and also to find pertinent information about them. Genera and species are placed alphabetically without regard to relationships as this should make the book easier to use.
