This book provides a species catalogue of the Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi based on personal inspection of a collection of ~7000 specimens spread over three Brussels museums, as well as a collection of over 500 bats at the British Museum (Natural History). This has allowed for the expansion of the then-existing taxonomic list and solved a number of taxonomic problems. Identification keys and distribution maps are provided.
