  • Outstanding account
By Rosie 11 Dec 2014 Written for Paperback
This book epitomises everything about the magic of dragonflies... The author is right when he says 'one landed on my shirt and from that day I was hooked' because that is exactly what happened to me. I was around 4 years old when a dragonfly landed on me and I have been hooked on them ever since.

Ruary is an outstanding story teller. He keeps the reader interested on every page and impatient to read what comes next. His struggle, against all the odds, to set up a sanctuary for dragonflies (unheard of at the time) would have many throwing in the towel long before completion. But not Ruary. He did it. It took many years but he did it.. The man is a genius..
