Language: Itailan with some sections translated into English
The shells of the Rissoidae, a mollusc family of very small and minute sea snails, are described and illustrated from the Miocene to the species currently living in the Mediterranean Sea, giving a broad summary of all known species. With reference to the original descriptions, the main morphological characteristics, the distribution, the reference bibliography are reported. The species mentioned are all depicted in nearly 200 photographic plates.
