124 lichenicolous (lichen-inhabiting) fungi are reported from Greenland, 72 for the first time, based on a study of 350 mainly hitherto undetermined collections made in the period 1946-83. This number is substantially more than that known from the whole of North America. A key to the species is provided The Lichenicolous Fungi of Greenland, as are illustrations of new and rare species, extensive references to the literature, and lists of species by the host lichens.
