About this book

Language: German

This large mushroom identification guide contains 16 chapters of related groups of fungi and provides an overview of the classification of more than 3000 species of fungi from Central Europe. Fungi with tubes, lamellae, spines, and ridges, but also morels, cup fungi, clubs, puffballs, truffles and the like are illustrated with drawings of typical species. Their identification is carried out step by step using characteristics that are as easy to assess as possible. If the naked eye is no longer sufficient, criteria from microscopy or information on chemical reactions follow. Once a species has been identified, a precise description follows and a picture of all common and important species. Identification with this overview increases knowledge of criteria and structures and turns beginners into advanced mycologists.
