The Secacam Series of trail cameras by Zeiss are a capable cellular-enabled trail camera that allows you to stream and save straight to your mobile device or tablet. A multi-roaming SIM with extensive LTE coverage in Europe and other overseas territories* is included which is paid through via a subscription service with multiple tiers from the ZEISS Online Shop. Service plans come in three tiers from Basic to Premium and finally a Professional tier, the details of which can be found below. Alternatively, a pay-as-you-go credits-based tier that does not require a rolling subscription is available. Cameras can be used without a service plan but will no longer be able to transmit images over the cellular network. Images and video are transmitted to your mobile device and organised and stored on the ZEISS Secacam app which stores all your data securely for you to review whenever you wish.
Both Secacam models share many features and both sport the same high-quality image and video processing that Zeiss has become known for in its binocular and photography product ranges. Image interpolation from Zeiss raises the 5MP sensor to produce high clarity 12MP images, day or night. For those who want a compact, less intrusive camera option with all the performance of the Secacam 7, without the magazine-style battery tray and door-based lens and screen the Secacam 5 has all the features you will need. For the convenience of a magazine-style battery tray and body-based screen then the Secacam 7 would be an excellent choice.
