An ongoing series covering all aspects of the life of amphibians. Each volume treats a different subject and is designed to stand alone as a complete, up-to-date review of that topic. Collectively, the various volumes provide a comprehensive and detailed account of the biology of frogs, toads, salamanders and caecilians. Each chapter is written by one or more of the principal authorities on that topic in the world, giving the series a truly international flavour.
The final volume in the series, Volume 11, which covers status and decline in the western hemisphere, will be published in multiple parts by different publishers.
