Randal S. Beeman is professor of history at Bakersfield College. His writing has appeared in the Journal of Sustainable Agriculture and the Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Ethics. James A. Pritchard teaches natural resoun conservation and environmental literature at Iowa State University and is the author Preserving Yellowstone's Natural Conditions: Science and the Perception of Nature.
