CLM enthält Artikel in Langform, Veranstaltungslisten, Buchempfehlungen, neue Produktinformationen und Berichte über Konferenzen und Vorträge.
This the second edition of the author's 1995 work, providing a useful update for birdlife within the boundaries of the City, which is all within the Devon county recording area. There have been recent losses of habitat: the biggest losers have been gulls (Laridae), with the closure of open tips, the roofing of the fish quay and improvements in sewage processing. Many small undeveloped areas have vanished, but some woodland reserves have been created. There is a complete annotated species list.
