British Wildlife is the leading natural history magazine in the UK, providing essential reading for both enthusiast and professional naturalists and wildlife conservationists. Published eight times a year, British Wildlife bridges the gap between popular writing and scientific literature through a combination of long-form articles, regular columns and reports, book reviews and letters.
The papers in this volume were presented at the Icon Book & Paper Group Third Triennial Conference 2021 entitled Mod Cons: Modern Conservation. Modern Conveniences. Modern Constraints. Topics include decolonisation; new treatments; educational programmes; business models; sustainability initiatives and frameworks. The scope of the work provides potential lessons and inspiration, and offers the opportunity for reflection on different approaches.
