Richard Fox has dedicated over 25 years to the study of Ithomiid butterflies, a group whose complex and difficult systematics has long been a byword among lepidopterists. This work, on the remaining of the four tribes, was set back when Dr Fox unexpected passed away, leaving Herman Real to complete the work. This work gives a taxonomic description of this tribe, includes keys to genera, and covers the genera Aremfoxia (a new genus), Napeogenes, Placidula, Rhodussa, Garsauritis, Hypothyris, and Hyalyris, and lists problematic species.
