The Canary Islands are located just off the northwest coast of mainland Africa. They are made up of seven main islands and six islets. These islands are a major attraction for birdwatchers from all over as they are home to six endemic species and many endemic subspecies, including Fuerteventuta Chat, Blue Chaffinch, Balk's & Laurel Pigeon. The aim of this DVD is to give you an introduction to two of these Islands – Tenerife and Fuerteventura, exploring the huge range of habitat and bringing you footage of the birds you can expect to find.
