The Small Insect Rearing Tent (60 x 60 x 60cm) from BugDorm has a lightweight fibreglass frame which separates into individual poles for easy storage and transportation. Front and back panels are made from clear plastic which allows for easy observation. Side panels are either polyester or fine nylon netting for ventilation. Support poles are located on the outside of the enclosure so that there are no nooks and crannies for insects to get stuck in.
The tent has two openings in the front panel. The larger zippered opening is large enough to insert and remove plants. Centred in this zippered opening is a 15cm diameter sleeve which can be used for the addition of food and the handling of insects.
Available with either polyester (680μm mesh) or fine nylon (160μm mesh) netting.
