The new Bushnell Equinox Z2 range of Digital Night Vision Monoculars have an infrared (IR) CMOS sensor and micro LCD screen offering superb night vision capabilities. The built-in IR illuminator provides effective night vision with an adjustable intensity, increasing the night viewing range in comparison to the earlier Z model counterparts. The Equinox Z2 has improved video recording quality at 1080p HD resolution and it can also upload images and stream video to your smartphone, tablet, or computer over WiFi using a free App. This dedicated Equinox Z2 App allows you to control zoom, video recording, image capture, and IR brightness directly from your mobile device. Recordings can be viewed through the eyepiece of the monocular itself. All three models have a 3x digital zoom increasing their optical magnification capabilities.
The Equinox Z2 features multi-coated glass objective lenses, a rugged, IPX4-rated water-resistant housing and a tripod mount. Other useful features include a USB port and an RCA video-out port to allow for an external monitor or recording device to be attached to view or record the live feed. A side rail enables accessories, like another illuminator, to be attached directly to the monocular. The Equinox Z2 takes a micro-SD Card (card not included) and is compatible with 4x AA Lithium or Alkaline batteries (batteries not included).
