The Haglof Factor Gauge is a simple way of achieving basal area estimates. It is constructed from a durable, transparent plastic and has bevelled edges for optimal spotting and accuracy. Improved grip for the index finger and thumb make for increased comfort and ease of use, whilst simplifying the measuring operation to help achieve reliable results. The gauge takes 'metric' measurements (m²/ha) of four different factors, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 and is attached to a 60cm beaded chain with keyring.
