Biography

Jenny Steel is a plant ecologist with a great passion for natural history and gardening since her childhood. After working at Oxford University for 20 years, she established the Wildlife Gardening Centre, a plant nursery specialising in British native wildflowers and wildlife-friendly cottage garden plants. She now works as a freelance writer for magazines, as well as writing books on wildlife gardening.
