Les Muricidae (Gastropoda, Muricoidea) du Pliocène Inférieur de Catalogne (France, Espagne):
Forty species belonging to the family Muricidae (Gastropoda, Neogastropoda) are described from the Zanclean (early Pliocene) of Catalonia. Three are new: Aspella pacaudi nov. sp., Favartia laletania nov. sp. and Lindapterys cervantesorum nov. sp. A comparison of Muricidae species in the different basins of Catalonia shows populating differences.
Les Muricidae (Gastropoda, Muricoidea) du Miocène de Montpeyroux (Languedoc, France):
Twelve species belonging to the family Muricidae (Rafinesque, 1815) are described from Montpeyroux (Languedoc-France). This site presents a particular fauna of Muricidae influenced by the adjacent sedimentary provinces of both the Atlantic realm and the Central Paratethys. The first occurrence in the French Miocene of the subgenus Habromorula is reported, with a new species: Morula (Habromorula) combauti nov. sp.
