The Royal Entomological Society is a global community of insect scientists and enthusiasts with a mission to show everyone how valuable and formidable insects are. They publish seven scientific journals and fund entomological activities with grants, awards and bursary programmes. Ideal for the more experienced entomologist the Royal Entomological Society Advanced Bug Hunting Kit includes all the equipment needed to catch and study specimens. Featuring our Standard Sweep Net which is designed for catching insects and other bugs from long grass the kit also includes 5x 60ml collecting pots, a pooter to enable the capture of small or delicate invertebrates without the risk of harming them as well as a pair of super fine pointed forceps and a 10x magnification hand lens.
To aid with identification the kit also includes the Collins Complete Guide to British Insects. This comprehensive guide includes over 1,500 species and contains detailed full-colour images of all the common and some of the more obscure species of insections found across Britain.
