This publications reports the results of five, roughly 7-10 day surveys undertaken between 2013 to 2015 in Sundarbans Biosphere Reserve, West Bengal, India. The authors focused on five hymenopteran families present in this area, namely Apidae, Halictidae, Megachilidae, Scolidae, and Vespidae. About 47 species of Hymenoptera were recorded from the study site, which encompasses 23 species of bees (11 species of the family Apidae, 9 species of the family Halictidae, and 3 species of the family Megachilidae), 4 species of Scoliidae, and 20 species of Vespidae.
