This is a pamphlet using photographs by Bonnie J. Tyler, rather than water color illustrations. Each photo is labeled with the scientific name and one common name. A letter code identifies it’s growth type, i.e. “vine”, “shrubs”, etc. It identifies 100 most common of the 2500 species of wildflowers found in Trinidad and Tobago.
It was developed for the Trinidad & Tobago Field Naturalists' Club, founded in 1891. It is a fold-out pocket guide 24" by 8.75" (61 cm by 22 cm) when spread flat; 3.5" by 8.75" (9 cm by 22 cm) when folded to fit in a pocket or day pack.
