The Zeiss DTI 6 series of scopes are the flagship thermal imaging device from Zeiss and provide unparalleled performance and image quality. The 640x480 pixel sensor with 12 μm pixel pitch captures high contrast and sharp images which are then modulated by Zeiss' proprietary 'Zeiss Smart Image Processing' (ZSIP) Pro to give you the best possible images from your thermal devices. Each device comes with an easily changeable, removable Lithium-ion battery, which on its own, gives 6.5 hours of use but can be swapped out in the field, drastically extending your available useful time with the camera. The device also has a smart power management system which will detect when the device is put down or picked up, and so automatically putting it into and out of standby mode, saving you even more power over time and removing the need to manually turn the device on and off. Ergonomically the scope has a centre-positioned scroll wheel for selecting zoom and navigating the menu in an ambidextrous fashion. Binocular users will also be very familiar with the binocular-styled eyepiece, giving familiarity and promoting ease of use.

The DTI 6 series is unique in that it is the only Zeiss thermal scope that has an exchangeable lens in either the 40 or 20 mm size. Giving the user a range of choices for field-of-view or focus range depending on the situation.
