Biography

Born, raised and schooled in Windhoek, Namibia, Anja Denker studied fashion design in South Africa before returning to Windhoek to work as a freelance illustrator for Gamsberg Publishers. Following a stamp design course in 1997, she produced hundreds of celebrated stamp and first-day cover designs for NamPost and SAPOA over a 15-year period. She is an award-winning bird and wildlife photographer.
