This volume covers the Ecuadorian genera Cyrtochiloides through Epibator (Orchidaceae), which are presented in alphabetical order. Twenty-one genera are treated, comprising altogether 283 species, plus one names hybrid. Taxa that have already been treated by Garay are treated summarily, whereas taxa not previously treated are given full synonymies, complete descriptions and exhaustive specimen citations. Complete keys are given for all genera and most species are illustrated.
