This volume covers the families Taccaceae and Tiliceae. The former is a monogeneric family with nine species in the tropics of the Old World, one species in South America and five species in Thailand. The latter is a family of 55 genera and about 1130 species widely distributed in the tropical and temperate zones, with 12 genera and 46 species indigenous to Thailand.
