The Garmin GPSMAP® 67 handheld GPS is a durable and essential piece of kit for anyone who finds themselves off the beaten track. Both the 67 and the 67i offer greater functionality over their predecessors while retaining the tried and tested framework which they were based on. Both models offer an improved battery life in both active tracking and expedition modes and boast a host of shared software capabilities while also both being IPX7 rated for water ingress as standard.
Multi band GNSS comes as standard, allowing the GPS handheld to seamlessly swap between competing global positioning systems (GPS, Galileo and QZSS) depending on the availability of satellites.
Extra navigational data such as barometric altitude and weather prediction will add input to your journey and a 3-axis electronic compass will help when comparing the GPS data to maps or charts. Safety features are a standout point as part of this range, with an in-built LED for local signalling but also interactive SOS alerts which are run through Garmin's 24/7 response team (67i only), two-way messaging to keep people updated as to your location and condition (67i only) and location sharing to relay precisely where you are to those who need to know.
Both devices are compatible with the GARMIN EXPLORE™ and GARMIN MESSENGER™ apps which enhance the experience of using the devices and may be required for some functionality.
Storage capacity can be expanded up to 32GB extra using a microSD card.
Note: Some features require a Garmin satellite subscription to access and may incur additional charges.
