The Mini Soil Emergence Trap from BugDorm can be used to rear insects from larvae present in soil samples collected in the field. It consists of a bottom container into which the soil sample is placed. On top of this container is fitted an inverted funnel which opens into the top container. Emerging adults will fly upwards through this funnel into the top chamber from where they can be collected. A nylon screen on top allows good ventilation and an additional cap is provided to prevent adults escaping prior to collection.
Available either singly or in packs of six.
