The Numaxes PIE1076 Trail Camera is great value for money, offering 48MP photo resolution, 4K video and no-glow LED illumination. It comes equipped with 1 central PIR sensor and 2 side PIR sensors creating an impressive detection angle of  120°. These sensors have three sensitivity levels, so the camera can be optimised for capturing footage at different ranges and in varied environments. Built for the outdoors the PIE1076 has an IP65 rating. 

Designed in France, the PIE1076 has an excellent trigger time of 0.3s, an adjustable video length up to 10 minutes, and 34 invisible black LED providing a flash range of up to 20 m. A 2-inch LCD colour screen built into the camera allows for photos, settings, and battery levels to be quickly checked in the field. Able to take a micro SD card with storage capacity between up to 512GB (class 10 minimum), it can store several thousand photos without running out of space. Capacity can be optimised by taking images only and by decreasing the photo quality (easily adjusted between 2MP and 48MP) and video resolution (settings range from 720p to 4K), allowing for plenty of options for performance customisation.

This camera comes with a wide array of programmable features including camera name and passwords for enhanced security. To conserve battery life the operating time can also be customised. The programmable cycle recording function is perfect for lengthy deployments, when the memory card is full, the camera continues to record new photos/videos by deleting the earliest photos or video clips. The PIE1076  also has a multi-shot mode, with the option to take up to five consecutive photos per trigger event, ensuring the best chance of capturing great wildlife images. The time-lapse feature can be used to capture a series of images and between set times of day, at variable intervals that can be selected via the timer setting. Using the timelapse video mode videos can be generated using these photos. 

This camera is powered using 8 x  AA batteries. There is also a DC port (6V/2A) for external power options.
