Both the 001 and 002 flow meters provide a cost-effective and reliable method of monitoring flow in a variety of environments, including salt, fresh and effluent water, from shallow streams to tidal waterways. The meters benefit from the design of the impeller bearings, which give low threshold velocity and consistent performance.

The main difference between the flow meters is that the 001 has a larger propeller than the 002. This lowers its stall speed as it has a bigger surface area and therefore requires less speed to turn the propeller. The larger 001 propeller also increases its top speed and improves its overall accuracy. The smaller propeller of the 002 model means it can be used in shallower water. 

They are durable yet easy to use and therefore are great for schools, education centres and universities as well as surveyors. Both flow meters are available either as a wading or suspension set with a real-time control unit. A conversion kit can be purchased separately to enable the wading set to be used as a suspension set.

The wading cable is 2 meters in length.
