Designed for inhabitatns of Nunavik, Quebec, tourists of the Far North and amateur and professional botanists, this new edition of this trilingual guide replaces the Atlas des Plantes des Villages du Nunavik. It presents more than 400 plants and specifies their distribution around the villages and parks in Nunavik and in some other regions of Quebec, including Gaspésie National Park, which on its high peaks, is also home to many alpine species in the Arctic Quebec. The section on the use of plants by the Inuit has been significantly increased.

Elle présente plus de 400 végétaux et précise leur répartition autour des villages et dans les parcs du Nunavik, ainsi que dans certaines régions du Québec, dont le Parc de la Gaspésie qui, sur ses hauts sommets, abrite de nombreuses espèces alpines également présentes dans l’Arctique québécois. La section sur l’usage des plantes par les Inuits a été considérablement augmentée.
