The Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) are a public body that advises the UK Government on UK-wide and international nature conservation. It was originally established under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 but were reconstituted by the Natural Environment and Rural Communities (NERC) Act 2006. JNCC produce a broad range of publications, including reports, data sets, handbooks and distribution atlases.
