The No. 13 House Martin Nest is simple to install and clean, especially when you're working from a ladder. Light, maintenance-free and virtually everlasting, these bowls will provide a safe space for a single pair or, if several are placed together, nesting space for a growing colony.
The nest bowl is made in air-permeable, weatherproof Woodcrete. Mounted on a durable backing plate, it slides accurately into position using two supplied stainless steel mounting rails that dramatically simplify installation. If desired, the nest then slides out for easy cleaning at the end of every season.
Modular System
If fitting more than one nest bowl, the flat connector allows multiple nest bowls to be fitted side by side in a row. It is designed to be used instead of the mounting rails on the border between nest bowls (see the images tab for illustration). It will also allow a semi-finished house martin nest to be installed adjacent to a standard bowl.
